Godse should have killed Nehru, says Kesari edit

NB - It is significant that when persons owing allegiance to the RSS hold positions of high authority in the Government of India, the mother organisation of the 'Parivar' should acclaim violence and political assassination. Incidentally, the RSS hatred of Nehru was an open secret in 1947 as well, when there was talk of his meeting the fate of the Burmese nationalist General Aung San. Here’s a list of six judicial commissions of inquiry into communal carnages (appointed by different state governments) that have implicated the 'parivar' in major incidents of communal violence: Jagmohan Reddi Commission (Ahmedabad, 1969) // D.P. Madon Commission (Bhiwandi, Jalgaon and Mahad, 1970) // Joseph Vithayathil Commission (Tellicherry, 1971) // Jitendra Narain Commission (Jamshedpur, 1979) Venugopal Commission (Kanyakumari, 1982) // B.N. Srikrishna Commission (Mumbai, 1992-93).
As recently as February 2014, there were serious allegations directed at the top leaders of the RSS for their involvement in the infamous Samjhauta train bombing. Since the RSS now presumes it controls the Indian state, the high officials of the Government owe an explanation to the citizens. Do the Prime Minister and Home Minister believe in and support vigilante violence and political assassination? If so, on what grounds can they ask Maoists and other insurgent groups to give up violence? This Kesari article demonstrates yet again the contempt for law on the part of the Sangh Parivar, and deserves the severest condemnation: DS
The RSS mouthpiece in Kerala ‘Kesari’  has stirred a hornet’s nest carrying a controversial article written by a BJP leader suggesting that Nathuram Godse should have killed Jawaharlal Nehru instead of Mahatma Gandhi. Written by B Goplakrishnan, who unsuccessfully contested as a BJP candidate in the last LS poll, claimed that Nehru was very selfish and he was responsible for many of the problems the country faces even after seven decades of independence. He also wrote ‘how Nehru clinically eliminated Gandhi at the last round of talks with the British to serve his selfish ends’.
According to the author Nehru just wanted Gandhi’s ‘khadi and cap’ as the symbol of the Indian National Congress. When Gandhiji said after independence that the mission of the Congress was over he ridiculed the father of the nation, he claimed.  Upset, Congress has slammed the story and called it disgusting. “It is time people understand the true face of the RSS-BJP combine,” said party spokesman Manu Abhishek Singvi in Delhi. State Congress leaders said they would take legal action to expose the BJP leader. However, Gopalkrishnan has defended his story saying he wrote only history not fiction. BJP and RSS leaders are yet to react to the story.
NB- In 1948 the RSS was dubbed ‘storm-troopers of the Hindu Mahasabha’ by the Punjab communist and comrade of Bhagat Singh, Dhanwantri - see:
http://dilipsimeon.blogspot.in/2013/10/archival-document-of-cpi-from-1947.html  At that time they demanded their men be placed in senior executive positions in the Punjab government, and reportedly warned that Nehru would meet the fate of Burmese General Aung San who was assassinated in July 1947. See p 22 of the above-mentioned Dhanwantri report, Bleeding Punjab Warns, which is an important historical document, and written from a humanist rather than communal perspective
An extract from the GoI wrote in its ban order of Feb 2, 1948 (Patel was Home Minister):"The objectionable and harmful activities of the Sangh have, however, continued unabated and the cult of violence sponsored and inspired by the activities of the Sangh has claimed many victims. The latest and most precious to fall was Gandhiji himself.."  Read the full text: RSS Declared Unlawful: Text of GOI communique February 4, 1948
In the year 2000 the Gujarat government of Keshubhai Patel, with the support of the Vajpayee government, lifted the ban on RSS recruitment among civil servants. In the ensuing controversy Patel said the RSS was not political (the usual story). This was stoutly resisted and the BJP was forced to withdraw. Read more:

Why should the VHP be exempt from paying income tax on account of being deemed a charitable trust? Where exactly is the charity in their activity?  Why, when a top leader of the 'parivar' is allegedly caught on tape encouraging the terrorist acts referred to by Aseemanand, was the matter buried under the carpet? Why have the bulk of the mainstream media blacked out Manoj Mitta's book on the post-Godhra investigations?
